CONTAINER PROJECT COMPLETED

In addition to the container sent to Peru in 2017, this second container is filled with equipment and supplies enough for the next 10-12 wells.   It also had in it a refurbished diesel motor for the larger "Blue Rig", assorted tools, and 95 boxes of good, used clothing to be disbursed by several ministries in the Piura Regional Area.  All the wood, nails, screws, and metal roofing needed to finish the second phase of construction of the warehouse building were also on board.

ENGINE FOR THE "BLUE" DRILLING RIG

The refurbished diesel motor pictured to the right was purchased out of a small excavator that had a fire in its cabin.  Along with the motor came a very powerful hydraulic pump attached.  The project will revitalize our main drilling machine and should last for many drilling trips to come.  Special thanks goes to Ray Best and Don Creech for their work in extracting and refurbishing the motor for the "Blue Machine".

1760 SQ. FT. WAREHOUSE COMPLETED

In October of 2017, the first phase of construction was completed on the WOLWI warehouse by building a 16x40 foot addition  The second container shell is part of the final phase of the warehouse construction. The two containers were placed 28 feet apart and the space between was constructed to support roofing to protect the larger equipment from the sun.   The result is a 28x40 foot warehouse plus the two 8x40 foot secure storage containers giving us a total of 1,760 square feet of warehouse space.

EXPANDING THE CHURCH PLANTING MINISTRY

Church planting where no reliable church exists has always been in the planning for the ministry of Wells of Living Water.  From its very inception, the WOLWI team has understood that personal evangelism is important but an important followup to evangelism is always the Bible-preaching and teaching local church.  Our first church plant began in an area about 1 hour from the capital city in the place we call "Kilometer 50".   On the May 2019 drilling trip, a well and a church were planted in the village of Megote.  The photo shows an elderly man thanking drill team member David Canatser.  His church in Fayetteville, NC sponsored the expense of the well.  More can be seen about this great ministry on the Church Planting page.
